A sign of the apocalypse has begun. Reports of a rapidly changing world for unknown reasons underscore this gritty drama, a prequel to AMC's uber-popular "Walking Dead." The story is told through the lens of high school guidance counselor Madison Clark. The widowed mother is raising two children single-handedly and maintains a relationship with English teacher Travis Manawa, her apocalyptic partner. The challenge of blending their families is exacerbated by unforeseen chaos, and a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold.

I will hold out hope, however fragile, that Season 6 will continue to be as good as the season premiere. I worry that I'm judging it too much as a comparison to the last two seasons which set such absurdly low bars for quality.

The biggest compliment I can give to Fear the Walking Dead is that it likes to switch things up. It tries out new storytelling mechanics, more so than The Walking Dead. But is that really a compliment? I'm not so sure.

🍀 5.4/10 I hate Dakota so much. This was close it sure was but yea I don’t love this the beginning was off to a bright start but once they start to introduce the cult they felt underdeveloped and needed much more time and it just feels bland by the end still better than last season thank god.

Truly the best season of FTWD. Characters have time to shine and the twist and turns make a hell of a ride. I really wish the quality of this season would've been the same in the final two season, but it was not. Showrunners ruined the final season and they surely ruined Madison's story. But this season was absolutely great.

A lot better than season 5 and Morgan is awesome this season. I kind of wish they would've made Morgan actually immune to the virus that would've been cool and made me more interested in the show. I really don't like the main villain teddy he really gets on my nerves. There's some interesting things with the ties to him and johns dad. But other than that I didn't love him as a villain and the bombing was a stupid choice in my opinion.
