Accidentally frozen, pizza-deliverer Fry wakes up 1,000 years in the future. He is taken in by his sole descendant, an elderly and addled scientist who owns a small cargo delivery service. Among the other crew members are Capt. Leela, accountant Hermes, intern Amy, obnoxious robot Bender and lobsterlike moocher "Dr." Zoidberg.

Perhaps the greatest compliment that can be directed at the new Futurama is that this new run slides in so easily with past episodes, and so comfortably, that future binges will feel seamless.

Si hay algo que demuestra otra nueva tanda de episodios de Futurama después de su tercera cancelación es que todavía se puede mantener fresco y divertido un programa sin necesidad de exprimirlo hasta convertirse en un caparazón vacío de lo que alguna vez fue, así tengan que pasar 10 años o mas.. En fin, vale la pena.

Anyone giving this a positive review either never watched the previous seasons, is giving the positive review out of nostalgia, or are the parents of the horrible writers. Not just the worst season of Futurama, but one of the worst seasons of any show I've ever seen, and I give everything a chance. I wouldn't have gone more than 5 minutes into episode 1 of this season if it weren't for how incredible the previous 10 were. Shame on all involved. We waited 10 years for this show to come back, watched the reruns dozens of times, only to be kicked in the gut. This was more of a disappointment than when Family Guy came back in 2005 with season 4 as a shell of its previous amazing self.

11 is not as good as the pre-cancellation series. It looks the same, and feels the same, but lacks a lot of the energy, zaniness and humor. The topical stuff is dumb - why would NFTs be relevant in 1000 years??? They were trying a bit too hard to be current they forgot the series was set in the future. OTOH, good to see the gang is back, and they did have some concept shows like the simulation one. Hopefully they don't fall off a cliff like Simpsons or Rick and Morty.
