Ever heard the phrase, "flash in the pan?" Or, "the brightest star burns half as long?" That's this show. One day, it's the hottest show on television, and the next its stars are wrapped up in scandal and audiences have moved on. Usually, I ask this question at the end but, have you seen the series? If so, what do you think? Personally, I feel it was the last of a certain type of show, "the 20+ episode season." You know the type. Each episode starts with a conflict or a situation. The characters bounce around, enlisting the help of others, only for the conflict to grow out of hand. Then as the episode finally ends and the characters come up with a logical resolution (usually provided by an older and wiser character) there's typically, a moral lesson to be learned (i.e. don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal, etc.). However, the issue with the show wasn't its content. Instead it suffered from a common issue called, "overstaying it's welcome." Rather than leaving on a high and using the very obvious ending (the Glee team finally won their competition and earned the recognition/respect they fought so hard for), the creators wanted to continue riding the wave of success they were on. Ultimately (and sadly), this left the show feeling stale and hurt what the previous seasons were building up to.

This series is definitely a must-watch. The characters of this show were really relatable to most and altogether really established a show of acceptance. Alongside the singing that contributed to the many aspects of the show, we as an audience were also caught up in a ball of entertainment with Quinn's Baby Drama. The first season of this show had its upside downs but yet still had the power to captivate you so much to continue watching the other seasons. Definitely for an audience who enjoys musicals. A very big Well done to the cast ( Dianna Agron, Corey Monteith, Mark Salling, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Kevin Mchale ) and Producer Ryan Murphy.
