This fantasy series sees fussy angel Aziraphale and loose-living demon Crowley team up to form an unlikely duo. The two have become overly fond of life on Earth, and they are forced into forming an alliance in an attempt to stop the approaching Armageddon. To do that, they have to find the missing Antichrist, an 11-year-old boy who is unaware that he is meant to bring the end of days upon humanity. Michael Sheen, David Tennant and Jon Hamm star in the series, which is based on the book of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

Emy L Very, VERY strong show. The flawless, powerful, magnetic acting, imaginative script, deadpan absurd humour from the late Terry, the aesthetic, it is perfection. I was weary of season 2, knowing the script would not be based off the book, but it’s even better than season 1! I am not familiar with the original book, but if it is as good, it might get a place on my TOP 10! Who would've thought that a story between the snake that tempted Eve and the Angel of the Eastern Gate would become sort of a romance... There were no "extra scenes" and every single one of the 6 episodes had a determining role to the end, something I personally appreciate. Also, let's talk about Aziraphale and Crowley, what a pair! There is no doubt that Michael Sheen and David Tennant were meant for these roles, and the chemistry between both actors adds credibility to their respective characters. Also, I watched the first episode, where Crowley says that he just brought down all phone lines in London, the day before the big electrical shut down in Spain (where i'm from). Coincidence? I don't think so... A totally must see for those who like subtle romantic stories with a little bit of miracles involved... Sit back and enjoy!
