Tara P The Greatest Events of WWII in Colour uses colorized footage to bring key moments from World War II to life, offering a more direct and engaging look at history. Providing a global perspective on the war, not just the American experience, the footage comes from a range of international source: British, German, Soviet, and other Allied and Axis forces. The series covers some of the most pivotal events of the war, including the Blitzkrieg and the Fall of France, the Battle of Britain, Pearl Harbor, Midway, and Stalingrad, as well as D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge, the firebombing of Dresden, the liberation of Buchenwald, and the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. While it doesn’t touch on every single battle, it focuses on moments that shaped the war's outcome. Seeing real footage in color makes the history feel more immediate and real. If you’re interested in WWII and want to experience history through a variety of perspectives, this series is worth the watch.
