Margaret Lyons New York Magazine/Vulture Was there a new kind of joy or sorrow brought forth through the magical power of song? Did anything happen to justify the ridiculousness of it all? Alas, no. Mar 17, 2020 Full Review Emily St. James AV Club After a handful of seasons that were, charitably, hit and miss, Grey's has started to get entertaining again. Rated: B+ Apr 1, 2011 Full Review Jennifer Armstrong Entertainment Weekly Season 7 hasn't relegated the finale's events to a dramatic stunt; rather, it's reveled in the possibilities of rebuilding life in the wake of tragedy. Rated: B+ Sep 23, 2010 Full Review Tom Gliatto People Magazine The satisfyingly steady seventh season is a model of a hit that keeps fitting new characters into the blueprint. Mar 17, 2020 Full Review Christina Tran TV Fanatic A fitting close to a very fickle season. After weddings, babies, a musical, and more, Shonda Rhimes definitely delivered as promised with a quieter than usual season finale focusing on Meredith, Cristina and Alex. Rated: 4.5/5 Mar 17, 2020 Full Review Renee Scolaro Rathke PopMatters Unfortunately, the best bits of the premiere were the flashbacks to the finale, though their impact was watered down considerably in the context of an action-less storyline, filled with Grey's usual rambling pontifications. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member GREY'S ANATOMY: SEASON 7 comes back with the same great qualities of the past season and adds a pich of unpredictability that will gloom some fans but that pleased me. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review dave d The show can't keep up with the level it set for itself. It's not only jumped the shark it did so on a motorbike that was on a sled that was under and an 18 wheeler driven by a panda. Worth Watching if you really like Soap Operas and for the performance of the actors, but be ready for a poorly (and lazily) written season.
