Aisha Harris Slate Derek's death comes with the ultimate gut-punch... But at this point in the Grey's Anatomy universe, if anyone can come out of this tragedy as a tougher, better character than ever, it's Meredith Grey. At least, we can hope so. Mar 17, 2020 Full Review Emily St. James Vox The series has subtly shifted in many ways to work better for the long haul, but the most consistent thing about it has been that the tone of the series as established by Rhimes in its first season has stayed remarkably consistent. Mar 17, 2020 Full Review Anne T. Donahue Guardian Not only did he help usher in one of TV's best romances of the past 10 years, Patrick Dempsey delivered to us a kind, compassionate character who may be the only person in the world who can get away with saying, "It's a beautiful night to save lives." Mar 17, 2020 Full Review Ashley Bissette Sumerel Tell-Tale TV I like the addition of Geena Davis to the cast, and even more, I like that she offers the opportunity for us to see a main character learning from someone again. Mar 18, 2020 Full Review Matt Roush TV Guide Creatively speaking, there's nothing worse than watching a longtime favorite wear out its welcome. Mar 17, 2020 Full Review Liz Raftery TV.com So, the question I had heading into Grey's Anatomy's Season 11 premiere was just how much Cristina's absence would be felt. And at the end, I have to say-while the lack of Yang was definitely noticeable, I think the show will be just fine with out her. Sep 26, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Jackson M S11 is where Grey finally goes down. They killed off too many of the best characters by S11 so those remaining couldn't carry the scenes. Aside from that, the writing in general just wasn't nearly as compelling to hold our attention. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/07/23 Full Review Eric M Each episode of Grey's Anatomy is like a perfect surgery, cutting through expectations, stitching emotions, and leaving our hearts pulsating to the rhythm of this awesome series! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/01/23 Full Review dave d The season may be one of the hardest to watch this side of season one. Almost every episode is cry-worthy. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Eu realmente gosto desta temporada centrada na Meredith. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I started watching “Grey’s Anatomy” because it was a medical show and I want to do that someday, but once I started watching I got hooked and ever since then I’ve watched it every Thursday. The episode where Derek died was so devastating; he was the best character. Meredith and Derek were the couple of the show, and they just took him off the show which made the show so much different.
