Esteban C he plot is very vague but it's the best i could find and i'll do my best to give my opinion about it all! this season was black and white at the same time. total opposites. by that i mean that some episodes were truly great, very enjoyable and all, while others really didn't stand as much and subsequently are not remembered by me at all at this point! the general plot was by my liking, with tom finally having an offer over his book and the family being the eccentric but supportive folks we all know. as in for each household, let's disclose it right now: dennise and sarah, the former being iconic and a very cool one, while the latest being the blackest sheep of every family in america and very annoying being so. and NO, that's not just because she's a woman! tom and marina, my favorites! i love the chemistry and interactions between them and the rest of the family and i love that the centre focus is on them and how they handle life! finally connor. i mean he goes through a though but rewarding at last period of his life. it's a self discovery journey that i'm glad we got to experience with him, and even though cringy at times, not my least favorite hayworth! as in for the negative let's start with sarah and let's end with the (grand)parents! no but really, they were all cringy, annoying and not of my liking at all this season. plus, i don't know how to exactly explain this, but i think they tried to hard in some episodes, trying to make them look all so different and similar at the time with problems and all, that they forgot the essence of the show and the fact that some of the best episodes were the most simple/regular life ones in the end! i like where the story is headed, and even though i know the show it was cancelled, i think the series has to end with tom publishing the books and them living a happily ever dysfunctional after! even though this isn't one of my favorite shows on tv or the best product out there, i feel like the realness they're trying to portray and this living day by day/normal life documentation concept they're giving is truly incredible and i wish that with a little bit of more realness and less extravagance, this series can deliver what it's exactly supposed to :) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/23 Full Review Audience Member The second season as been fun to watch.
