Kelly Robinson and Alexander Scott are ostensibly a couple of tennis bums who mooch their way around the world, with Robinson playing wealthy people in tennis matches in exchange for food and lodging. In reality, they are spies for the Pentagon, battling bad guys and chasing beautiful women. With Bill Cosby portraying one of the show's main characters, "I Spy" contains as much comedy as one would expect drama in a series featuring spies. The show's executive producer is Sheldon Leonard, an actor known for playing gangster roles in the 1940s and '50s.
