Blind 20-something Murphy is drifting through life in a haze of drunkenness, and her only friends are her understanding roommate Jess and Tyson, a sweet teenager she met when he saved her from a violent mugging. Murphy's life is turned upside down when, while out for a walk with her guide dog, she stumbles upon what she is certain is Tyson's lifeless body in the alley outside her apartment. When the body disappears by the time the police arrive, and they don't seem inclined to investigate, Murphy clings onto the only thing that can keep her together: figuring out what happened to her friend.

JoLene N 100% Binge Worthy! Keeps you guessing and shaking your head! Good stuff! Was hoping for season 5! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/25/24 Full Review SkyRo P #TVReview #InTheDark #Netflix Seriously if you want something to binge and something to watch this is definitely the show for it. I was completely glued to the television watching season three, I previously already watched season one and two, and now this season three is out it is completely addicting. This show is about a blind girl trying to solve the case, and so much more twists and turns it's not a murder mystery, it's more of a suspenseful thriller television show. It's so amazing. Let's just say I love Murphy and pretzel Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/06/24 Full Review Tzeitel W The only actual adults in the series are Lesley and Gene. The maudlin, self-pitying, monomaniacal protagonist is neither clever nor compelling enough to demand anyone's serious interest. The writers could have done us all a favor and thrown her in jail at the end of season two and called curtain. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/13/23 Full Review tom m The actress playing the blind lead character still doesn't know how to do the "1000 yard stare" … at all. Her eyes are constantly following things and doing meaningful tracking. And since her eye color is that haunting silver (or VERY light blue) it is hard to not notice her eyes. It bugs me. Oh, and they really need a blind behavior consultant to tell them how to properly use a white cane. Oh well. It's entertaining enough for me to continue to watch. Continued poor acting w.r.t. the behavior of a blind person. The continued obsessive & stubborn behavior of the primary character is getting very annoying. More of the same. It's sort of a mystery as to why I keep watching this series that irritates me. Can't look away from the car wreck. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review abuela c I didn't think this show could get any worse but they've proved me wrong. My wife is watching this show because she's the type of person that doesn't quit a show but, holy sh**, is the writing and acting bad. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review kenneth r This show started out so well. By the end I found myself not caring about any of these characters. The only smart one is Jess, who had the sense to get away from Murphy. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
