Deborah Ross The Mail on Sunday (UK) Faith is well drawn, and Myles embodies her completely. Her Faith is full of colour and life. Her Faith is also warmth and charm, temper and frustration. Rated: 4/5 Aug 15, 2018 Full Review Sam Wollaston Guardian It looks real and brilliant and Welsh. Rated: 4/5 Jul 13, 2018 Full Review Jasper Rees Daily Telegraph (UK) Those who missed out are heartily encouraged to give it a whirl. Why? The premise of the thriller is simple enough. Rated: 5/5 Jul 13, 2018 Full Review Adam Sweeting The Arts Desk This opener set a cracking pace, immediately plunging us back into the sense of menace and unease which had so powerfully informed the previous series. Rated: 4/5 Jul 25, 2019 Full Review Christopher Stevens Daily Mail (UK) The cheapness is part of the appeal -- along with the impenetrable plot and long, brooding silences. Rated: 3/5 Jul 24, 2019 Full Review Malcolm Hopwood The Post NZ Welsh drama is like keeping the ball in the forwards for the first 30 minutes and then slowly releasing it to the backline. By the end of the game you're captivated. Aug 31, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Andrei D The first episode is so good that the rest of the season struggles to deliver on its promise Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/25 Full Review Sarky C Eve Myles was spectacular in this. Definitely one of the best series and thrillers I have seen. Everything from the story the acting screenplay and the shots was fantastic. Even the music was absolutely captivating. If you haven't seen it I definitely advise you do Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/26/24 Full Review Audience Member The first two series were superb and ground breaking, made by the star quality of Eve Myles. However, as so often, the third series can't keep it up. Long pointless shots of her and others staring moodily at the sea or into a wine glass, with nothing happening except a pop song trying to fill the gap. Needs more PLOT and more court room DRAMA. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A well acted gem. Real locations, even the kids in the series we believable and put in great performances. We are USA based and it beat almost anything locally made here. The Critics are entirely correct for once and I have no idea who the members of the public detractors were watching??? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Very disappointed in season 3....really admired the Faith character in the beginning...she was intelligent, loving, fierce and loyal...but in the second and third season she falls for the gangster Steve who has done horrible things and would be a danger to have around for the kids...not smart or indicative of a good mother ! Would have been more palatable if she reconciled with her husband...at least if she forgave him for deeds he done (which didn't seem much worse than Steve) her children would be less traumatized...lost all respect for her...not watching the final episodes of Season 3. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member What this show does well, it does extremely well, the acting and writing are sensational. And it provides a riveting slow burn building up the mystery and suspense. The cheesy music and sappy songs at regular intervals to unnecessarily emphasize the emotions make me want to vomit, though.
