Anita F Another great season. Can't wait for each episode to begin! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/29/23 Full Review Andi Probably the peak of any crime TV. Cannot get any better. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review ma'ark t Season 3 of Line of Duty packs so much into so few episodes. A great crime thriller that ties up previous seasons as well. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member No, sorry but it's not a tightly written Brit detective series. It stretches belief in pretty much every episode...not to the "Money Heist" gold standard of unbelievability, but close. You know, the bad guy runs out of a hearing in the police headquarters crawling with cops, but 100 yards later it's only him and the key female lead by themselves. No sirens, nothing. Meanwhile, all the cops back at the station are standing there wringing their hands and bemoaning where the armed response team is. I know you have to suspend some level of reality on these shows for dramatic effect, but why so over the top? Couldn't like maybe one or two more cops take up the chase? The series seems to have the same plot concept each season. A key player is portrayed as obviously guilty of some murder or whatever, then it evolves to have a less suspected cast member be the actual villain. Nobody believes either of the two main AC players, even though they're pretty much right about everything. Despite this, it's a fairly interesting series. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Very well written and acted. Engrossing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member The behind-the-camera teams have worked out what will make the seasons run as one over-arching story, whilst delivering set themes for each, individually. This season is held together more by the developments of the former than of having anything particularly notable about the latter Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald Expect sharp turns on a white-knuckle ride. Aug 12, 2020 Full Review Andrew Billen Times (UK) The characters have been memorable, sometimes indelibly so. The plotting has been meticulous, demanding our more than usual attention. Yet it has remained a work of social realism. Rated: 5/5 Dec 31, 2017 Full Review Cameron K. McEwan Digital Spy From hereon in, each episode ramped up the tension with surprises galore. Oct 17, 2018 Full Review Radio Times Staff Radio Times If the first three series have taught us anything, it's that the web of corruption stretches far and wide. Oct 17, 2018 Full Review James Walton The Spectator Yet, what makes Line of Duty so good is not just the traditional pleasures of plot, pace and characterisation. It's also Mercurio's entirely justified belief that the more technical aspects of an anti-corruption case can be extremely dramatic too. Sep 7, 2018 Full Review Christopher Stevens Daily Mail (UK) We'd waited a long time, almost the entire length of this 90-minute finale, for some action. It was worth waiting for.
