Thanks to a wildly popular segment on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," pretend-singing contests between celebrities are now worthy enough for a TV series. "Lip Sync Battle" brings together some of the biggest performers in entertainment, including Anna Kendrick, Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Terrence Howard, and executive producers Fallon, John Krasinski and Stephen Merchant, to see who better lip-syncs songs of their choice. Helping produce epic battles, celebs are outfitted not only with microphones but props, costumes and even backup singers. LL Cool J hosts, and model Chrissy Teigen provides color commentary.

Stuart Heritage Guardian You'll have seen these countless times by now, and yet the performances are probably charming enough to warrant repeated viewing. Nov 24, 2020 Full Review Emily Yahr Washington Post For those of us who have grown awfully tired of Jimmy Fallon's celebrity game schtick, it was just another cause to cringe. Please, make this thing stop. Nov 24, 2020 Full Review Amy Amatangelo The Hollywood Reporter Like an ill-fated movie adaptation of a Saturday Night Live skit, Lip Sync Battle suggests some things are better in small doses. Nov 24, 2020 Full Review Tania Hussain The Hudsucker Because there is no real competition here, Lip Sync Battle is a welcome and fun break from the reality competitions and music shows that tend to crowd prime-time. Jul 10, 2024 Full Review Melissa Camacho Common Sense Media The series offers lots of high-energy fun as popular celebs let loose and pretend to be the singers and performers they've secretly always wanted to be Rated: 4/5 Nov 24, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Everyone LOVED Chrissy. I even followed her years ago to see what the big deal was and quickly realized it was Nothing...just like all the other Nothings out there trying to be Something. There's Nothing wrong with Nothing trying to be Something, but, Nothing will face a lot of Something once the Something is called out and Nothing is still trying to be Something. Nothing should embrace her Nothingness and sign off and be a full-time Mommy, because that's the biggest Something she could do for herself and her beyond-adorable kids, instead of exploiting her beautiful children for her continued rotten trips into the battlefield of fame. Let me drop this here: Calling Ms Chrissy pan-face or moon-face or whatever racist things you drop-in on her gossip while railing against other racists is not okay. I think people have embraced these terms to apply to plastic-types who love their fillers, but, they almost always get applied to Asian women, so....STOP.
