Graeme Blundell The Australian As unexpectedly as Lupin arrived and then disappeared like one of its hero's magic tricks - a wonderful piece of legerdemain by Netflix - the brilliant French language crime series has returned. Jun 29, 2021 Full Review Lorraine Ali Los Angeles Times Credit the charm of performer Omar Sy with bringing this unlikely protagonist to life and infusing him with a depth that goes beyond the usual tough-guy-seeking-revenge narrative. Jun 24, 2021 Full Review Ellen E Jones Guardian If Part 2 has a flaw it's only that it feels like what it is: a continuation of the previous series, rather than an adventurous leap in a different direction. Rated: 4/5 Jun 14, 2021 Full Review LaNeysha Campbell But Why Tho? A Geek Community Lupin Part Two is an awesome addition to the series. At only five one-hour episodes it is a light and entertaining watch. The plot, characters, and chemistry in Part Two simply surpass Part One and takes the series to another level. Rated: 9/10 Jan 23, 2023 Full Review Ralph Jones NME (New Musical Express) A third season of the show has already been commissioned. And why not? Television this good only comes around once in a while. Rated: 4/5 Jul 2, 2021 Full Review Steve Murray ArtsATL As fans of Lupin, we'll look forward to watching him anytime the show returns. Enzo D An amazing part 2, following the first part. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/25 Full Review Ted B 4.0 stars; Every bit as good as Part 1. Even though it was the great demand that created a Part 2, I wondered what they were going to do for a storyline since the bad guy had been caught and jailed. However, some clever screenwriting put the bad guy back on the streets again and led to a new challenge for Lupin to gain revenge for his father's death by exposing the bad guy and putting him away for "good." I am so glad that there is a Part 3. I don't know if it will be a continuation of Part 2, But if not, I would like to see what the writers come up with for a new challenge for Lupin. I have enjoyed this series very much so far. In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing this slick Series go quite a few more Parts. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/20/24 Full Review Roberto R Devido ao sucesso da 1a temporada (merecido) esticaram demais a história. Ficou arrastado. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Taft C I wanted to like Lupin, and I might have liked it more if I hadn't been watching the dubbed version. Considering what a genius the fictional Arsene Lupin was imagined to be, Omar Sy's character frequently bordered on the idiotic. For a supposed master of disguise, Sy sticks out like a sore thumb most of the time, and it doesn't help that he's built like a pro football player. The writers/director seemed more concerned with style and less with coherence. It didn't help that the character's fictional hero's name, Lupin, was uniformly mispronounced as "Lupon" by all the voices in every episode of the dubbed version. That wouldn't have happened if it were in French, of course, but the whole thing has an air of sloppy self-satisfaction to it, as does the character himself. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Ronald S Despite having big shoes to fill, this season does a good job in continuing the direction and allure of the plot. While there are some plot holes, it does not fatally affect the overall story. Fantastic casting and camerawork shine similarly in this season as it did in the previous. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/15/23 Full Review jeronimo m muy buena aunque baja un poco el nivel lo mejor fue el final y los 2 primeros capitulos el 3 fue un poco olvidable muy buena Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
