The Cleavers they ain't. Mom is a screaming control freak, Dad is a goofy human hairball, oldest son Francis escaped the family at a young age, Reese is just criminal, Dewey is a space cadet and young Jamie is the scapegoat. The middle kid, Malcolm (who delivers the narrative for the capers of this whacked-out clan) is a brainiac who doesn't want to be burdened by his genius.

John Leonard New York Magazine/Vulture Those of you who have followed Malcolm... ought to know better than to doubt for a second the savage savvy of Lois in her solitary splendor. All in one, she is Mother Jones, Mother Courage, Mother Goose, Mother Superior - and Pol Pot. Aug 31, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

moviereviewerc u Laugh after laugh. Flawless performances from the cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I can't give a negative review since I love this show so much, but this season is noticeably worse than the previous seasons, as it starts to get less funny and finds a more random sense of humor that doesn't work as well, but the actors are all still at their best. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Oh boy isn't this great! A series that goes on and on and nothing about it is bad:) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Coming off the great Season 5, it's just not as good. But, this does at least have a few of my favorite episodes! I also miss Francis, and to be honest, Otto wasn't that bad! Why'd they get rid of Francis? He wasn't in nearly as many episodes! I always saw that he was credited as being in every episode, and now I was disappointed because he wasn't! I think a few season reviews ago, I think I mentioned saying my favorite episodes in the last season review. I'm going to do that in this upcoming Season 7 review!
