This miniseries tells the story of the FBI's hunt for the Unabomber in the 1990s. Agent Jim "Fitz" Fitzgerld, a fresh-faced criminal profiler with the agency, faces an uphill battle in tracking the infamous criminal but also has to fight against the bureaucracy of the Unabom Task Force (UTF), of which he is a part. Although Fitz pioneers the use of forensic linguistics, others in the UTF dismiss his maverick ideas and new approaches. Ultimately, though, his new techniques help him identify and capture the Unabomber.

Alison Herman The Ringer The writing may be somewhat cringeworthy, but Manhunt always has Kaczynski's actual manifesto to fall back on (which it does often, via voice-over). The J MK Ultra has to be one of the most evil things ever done by a government. And it was done in the US, land of the free. It's a complete betrayal of the entire nation, and humanity. Pure evil. Everyone associated with it should have been in prison, and still should. The Unabomber got his name, because of the fact, that he sent packet bombs, which often were adressed to UNiversitys or Airlines, for over 17 years, without being caught. The authorities begin their investigations, with having only one question in their mind "Why?", because the Unabomber didn't reveal his motives for a pretty long time. I watched the series a long time ago so I don't really remember much, but the series is good. She does a very good job of portraying the Unabomber as the person he was and that's really very interesting! I haven't seen Season 2 yet, so I may be updating this critic after I have.
