Tyler P Both the best and worst early season of Agents, it's where Agents really starts coming into its own, and that comes with some flaws, but also some of the best storytelling up to this point in the series. Direct MCU connections start becoming few and far in between here, as post Ultron SHIELD is mostly no longer a player (until post endgame perhaps, where we may see a return someday?). It is unfortunate that this season saw two of my favorite post S1 characters depart for a spinoff that would never occur, but honestly if that's the season's largest loss quality wise that's not too shabby at all. I loved Simmons' journey, which practically guided the main plot, even without her being the protagonist the entire time. The episode that showed her saga on the other planet was my favorite. All the characters in this series are very good, I'm sad about so many deaths. And the departure of Bobbi, who was one of the best on the team. Um misto de Agentes com Inumanos e uma pitada de monstros lendários, como o grande polvo hidra, além do inesperado vilão da temporada. Chloe Bennett agora como Daisy consegue mostrar uma pura evolução da personagem e entrega uma atuação extraordinária. Um ponto extra para o romance e dramaturgia extremamente emocionante entre Fitz e Jemma, finalmente podemos descansar em paz agora que ambos são um casal. E para concluir, podemos chorar com a despedida de outro casal super importante, mas que tem seu papel concluído com sucesso, e apresentam uma das cenas mais emocionantes da temporada. Parabéns Marvel, que mais produções a esse nível voltem a acontecer. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/27/23 Full Review Lance B Season 3 is another resounding success for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! The team members all work together really well, with the new addition of Yo-Yo fitting right in, and as always, the humor is top-notch. Season 3 sees Agents of SHIELD start delve more into its Sci-Fi aspect, with this being the first season to deal, albeit briefly, with time travel, which it manages to pull off very well with just a few limited glances into the future. Compared to the first two seasons, Season 3 doesn't have a villain that also ranks as one of my favorite characters on the show as with John Garrett and Cal Johnson, but Gideon Malick easily proves himself as a superior head of HYDRA compared to Whitehall with him projecting confidence that makes him a worthy villain. The season's main villain, Hive, is also quite a good villain, with his sheer power and fun interactions with other characters due to his possession of Grant Ward's body making up for his more generic bad guy motivations. Finally, Season 3 really delves into the consequences of SHIELD's actions, with Coulson's quest for revenge against Ward ultimately enabling Hive's return to Earth. This clear message of the perils of acting for selfish reasons is tied up nicely with the season's conclusion, where Lincoln is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice to undo the damage caused by the poor, selfish decisions of the rest of SHIELD. All in all, another amazing season that I'd say is about even with Season 2, overall on the lower end for this amazing show.
