The worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division) employs an elite team of agents who investigate strange occurrences around the globe and beyond. Its members -- each of whom brings a specialty to the group -- work to protect those who cannot protect themselves from extraordinary and inconceivable threats, including a formidable group known as Hydra. The series is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and acknowledges the continuity of the franchise's films and other television series.

Season 6 was ... fine. It happily killed 45 minutes per week for 13 weeks, but it didn't achieve anything else, and in fact only got lazier and cheaper looking as it went on...

Agents has proven itself and gotten incredible at plotting an almost peak marvel comics level of twisting, turning plot and lore roadmap with pinpoint accuracy. The sixth season goes full throttle from beginning to end and acts as another transitional arc, that plays the cards close to it's chest until the very end.

The oddest season of "Agents of Shield" out of the seven, a lot of it is a bridge to the seventh and last season. However, this season does a good job of keeping the audience guessing where the writers are going.
