He was an officer and I had never been around divorce. I quickly learned the laws and have since educated others. It is a common tactic, sadly so, that children are used as pawns. It’s not that they are really wanted. Just pieces that can causes emotional overreactions! But at what damage! This small, yet well acted and well crafted series, masterpiece brings out each character’s part in this insidious drama of torture. It brought back memories for me. Of corse my ex only wanted to hurt me. He never wanted the responsibility of children. You can’t sleep late with children!!! Perhaps someone will learn that too many suffer when we try to punish people arbitrarily through children! I haven't seen any other story as much as mine and it resonated with me so much. I can see why others may find this show unimpressive. But overall it's okay and there's enough drama to keep you interested. (Spoilers ahead) It also made me realize how high the bar we set for mothers that a mistake is enough to say she did this to herself. And if the roles were reversed, the mother would still get the flak for putting the kids' lives in danger. There's just so much to unpack.. on how we decide what is justified. Is it better to have your kids living in an area with constant bombing over a cheating wife? When does it become okay to involve the kids because of spite? See more Read all reviews
