Comic Norm Macdonald first made a name for himself on "Saturday Night Live" in the 1990s as anchor of the show's popular "Weekend Update" segment. Since leaving the late-night staple in 1998, the comic has appeared in various TV shows and movies and hosted his own podcast on which he, along with sidekick Adam Eget, interviewed celebrities. Now Macdonald and Eget are bringing a version of the podcast to Netflix with this half-hour series. In each episode, the hosts interview a celebrity -- with a lineup that includes the likes of actress Drew Barrymore, late-night host David Letterman and "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels -- in a conversation that often takes unexpected -- and comical -- turns.

Audience Member It's quite brilliant and extremely funny. I don't believe the critics score and it probably sums up the stupidity of Rotten Tomatoes and criticism overall. Bar mine which is excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Norm is brilliant. He brings on hugely different peope and subjects them to a show environment unlike any other and makes it work. I can't see why this hasn't gone on for more seasons. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Dad and I obsessively e-mailed back and forth about this show for months, with each e-mail having a different conclusion about it: He's serious. He's not serious. He has Dementia. He's drunk. He's having a mini-stroke. He's f'ing with everyone. Dad was especially mad when he cut off David Spade's funny story and decided Norm was insane and has no good comedic empathy. Whatever this show was, really terrible most episodes, it kept Dad and I watching, as we could never truly determine Norm Macdonald's mental state and why he was given this show. So, if you want to have these conversations with your elderly Father, it's a must-see if it's still available on Netflix. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review dave d If you like Norm, you'll love it and if you don't you won't. It's pretty simple!! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the greatest pieces of media ever created. Thank you Netflix. Thank you Norm. (PS... Also fuck you Netflix... We need more. ) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Norm manages to be both the greatest host and the worst host at the same time on this show. Fantastic work.
