      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Obliterated pulls out all the stops to be as memorable a binge as a bar crawl, but the hangover sets in quickly for this overly busy series.

Previous Leila Latif Guardian The pace is so excruciating and the show so repetitive that by the third hour, nothing would seem more heroic than someone detonating the bomb and putting us all out of our misery. 1/5 Jan 3, 2024 Full Review Anita Singh Daily Telegraph (UK) I did not think it was possible to cross The Hangover with the combined oeuvre of Steven Seagal, but here we are. 1/5 Dec 1, 2023 Full Review Jake Kleinman Inverse Obliterated packs a lot of raunchy humor and epic action into its eight hour-long episodes, while also managing to be one of the best counterterrorism thrillers since 24. Dec 1, 2023 Full Review Sam Stone CBR Ultimately, Obliterated feels like a decent enough premise that just couldn't quite hit the target... Dec 18, 2023 Full Review Alex Maidy JoBlo's Movie Network This is far from high art, but Obliterated is a lot of fun with some creative kills and witty one-liners that would have been right at home coming from Arnold or Sly. 7/10 Dec 7, 2023 Full Review Juan Pablo Russo EscribiendoCine Despite a few fun moments, the series can not escape the feeling that it was conceived by adolescents amid a hormonal peak. Previous Kushagra A Really funny and interactive Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review Mich D This is my first time leaving a review about any movie or show. This was an absolute masterpiece. It wasn't that cheesy funny; it was just the right level and amount of funny, drama, violence, nudity, gore, sex, it is an awesome series! Kudos to the writers, producers, and cast. I don't think there's going to be another season just because of how it ended; I don't think it was created for that but damn I wish it didn't end. I could watch 30 episodes straight through. BRAVO! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/24 Full Review Karah O Absolute rubbish. An embarrassment of show. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review SundayNightStreaming o Obliterated Season 1 - 7.9 - This was a very fun ride, a lot of action and a lot of laughs. It was an exhilarating rollercoaster that seamlessly blended the intensity of John Wick with the hilarity of The Hangover. From the explosive action to the uproarious laughter, every moment was a delightful surprise. The ensemble cast, with standout performances from McKnight and Winters, elevated the show, making each character endearing. The unexpected twist in the storyline had me fooled and added a layer of complexity that kept me on the edge of my seat. They saved the world, they partied like there was no tomorrow, and then turns out the bomb was a fake and they had to snap into action under the influence of all the drugs under the sun they indulged in. The outrageous and over-the-top scenes, though farfetched, contributed to the captivating narrative. The hallucination subplot in Vegas, particularly involving the pilot's daughter, was a wild and crazy ride, complete with a boyfriend who embodied every dad's worst nightmare. What stood out was the show's ability to maintain a perfect balance between feel-good moments and intense action, making it a binge-worthy experience. The chemistry among the characters was palpable, and I found myself hoping for more adventures with this cast in a potential Season 2. With a compelling mix of laughter, action, and unexpected twists, this was a hit. Official sundaynightstreaming rating of 7.9 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Stephanie L This has got to be my absolute favorite tv show ever! I binged the entire thing last night. I couldn't help myself, even though I was exhausted. This is a steamy sexy, intentionally campy, brilliantly witty, gory violent, with a riveting edge of your seat plot, that even has the audacity to have a few sentimental moments… which I must admit, actually had tears rolling down my cheeks. If you want to laugh so hard you almost pee your pants, well simultaneously being turned on, grossed out, and extremely intrigued. Then this is the show for you! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/24 Full Review B C Uh, this show is f***ing fantastic! Idk what else to say. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review Read all reviews Next Post a review
