What to Know

Critics Consensus

Obliterated pulls out all the stops to be as memorable a binge as a bar crawl, but the hangover sets in quickly for this overly busy series.

The pace is so excruciating and the show so repetitive that by the third hour, nothing would seem more heroic than someone detonating the bomb and putting us all out of our misery. Go to Full Review

I did not think it was possible to cross The Hangover with the combined oeuvre of Steven Seagal, but here we are. Go to Full Review

Proudly raunchy in a way that recalls Amazon’s The Boys, this series from the creative team behind Cobra Kai merits a toast, or in the spirit of the show, five or six of them. Go to Full Review

Ultimately, Obliterated feels like a decent enough premise that just couldn't quite hit the target... Go to Full Review

This is far from high art, but Obliterated is a lot of fun with some creative kills and witty one-liners that would have been right at home coming from Arnold or Sly. Go to Full Review

Despite a few fun moments, the series can not escape the feeling that it was conceived by adolescents amid a hormonal peak. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Marco L @decatur555 Mar 3 Obliterated is loud, chaotic and unapologetically excessive. Built around a simple terrorist plot in Las Vegas, the series quickly turns into a nonstop mix of action, crude humor, sex and over-the-top set pieces. It channels old-school action energy but amplifies everything to absurd levels. The cast has decent chemistry and the show never hides what it wants to be: pure, messy entertainment. However, the openly sexist and often vulgar humor can wear thin, and the hour-long episodes feel stretched, with noticeable filler. It’s not subtle, and it’s certainly not prestige television. If you accept its tone and don’t go in with strong objections, it can be fun in bursts. Otherwise, it may feel exhausting rather than entertaining. See more Dave L @RT29131586 Nov 2 This was a pleasent surprise, and entertaining. See more Ken J. @Kenwjobe Nov 2 I thought it was really funny with a lot of good drama and action. Not perfect but very very entertaining. See more Sam A @RT00541500 Aug 23 Honestly not awful. Worth watching if you like action movie cliches See more tiago m @RT31388926 Apr 29 Não é horrível, mas é a tipíca série que pra ser adulta coloca safadeza, coisas ilícitas e palavrões, pra dizer "Nossa como sou adulta, me assistam". Os personagens são ok e cumprem seu papel. As lutas podiam ser melhores. See more Ripper J @RJ2099 Apr 8 Obliterated was actually a decent show, especially by modern “entertainment” standards. Most of the characters are generic, but the writing is funny (in a Porky’s meets Airplane kind of way) and there is the occasional character twist. The plot is predictable with twists too, but the purpose of the show is humor, which they nail repeatedly. This show is more entertaining than most of what’s on these days. That it was canceled is awry. They’ll give garbage shows like Rings of Poop multiple seasons, but something entertaining gets canceled. Sadly, we are suffering through the dark ages of “entertainment.” See more Read all reviews
