Set 400 years in the future, Seth MacFarlane's hit space adventure series follows the U.S.S. Orville, a mid-level exploratory spaceship. Its crew, both human and alien, face the wonders and dangers of outer space, while also dealing with the problems of everyday life. The ensemble series stars MacFarlane as the ship's Captain, Ed Mercer, and Adrianne Palicki as his ex-wife, who's assigned as his first officer. Additional cast members include Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon and J Lee.

I just wanted this series to have the same amount of season as family guy. Oh god how I love this series, I've watched them multiple times and it still touched me in places I've never been touched before. As the word of Peter griffin "Sometimes in life you just gotta say what the hell and go for it" So give me season 4 and so on

I wish I could give this season 6 stars. It's what made the old Star Trek series great. It uses science fiction themes to reflect society. It's stories are about philosophy, consciousness, grief, empathy, hate, bigotry, and hope. I think watching this would make everyone a little kinder, to others and too themselves.

Easily the strongest of the 3 seasons, with a move to streaming allowing for increaced and flexible run time for every episode, which in turn gives space for storytelling not seen in the previous 2 seasons. Season 3 is some of the best TV I've ever seen, with multiple episodes bringing out some of the best writing and drama in a long time. It would be hard to follow without previous knowledge of the first 2 seasons (duh), so the entire series becomes a must-watch.
