Audience Member Repetitive plot, no consequences for character's actions. Captivating for the first and somewhat second season but after that, just horrendous. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/18/25 Full Review Jakey B A more average season than previous but does have less boring side plots and melodrama with more attention to the actual treasure hunt leading to to a pretty good finale that is the best episode of the series. Because of that I think I enjoyed this season on the same level as the others. They could have left things here, but glad there is more. Still not an amazing series but for what Outer Banks is, this season is mostly what it should be. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/25 Full Review Jeddie G Overall, its not a terrible season. But it really lacked the continuation that Season One to Season Two had, which is unfortunate. I predicted in my rating from Season Two that the "back and forth" from their parents would get redundant, and it not only became redundant but they decided to ramp it up even more. To a point, it actually became a real conflict and "arc" that was solved... in less than half an episode during this season. It had no stakes (for more than that episode), it had no emotional meaning, and it left me feeling like there was almost no direction this season. The beginning of the season was just as bad on this front; the ending remains to be seen. I will have to start Season 4 to judge it.
