      68% 37 Reviews Tomatometer 71% 500+ Ratings Audience Score Leslie Knope, a midlevel bureaucrat in an Indiana Parks and Recreation Department, hopes to beautify her town (and boost her own career) by helping local nurse Ann Perkins turn an abandoned construction site into a community park, but what should be a fairly simple project is stymied at every turn by oafish bureaucrats, selfish neighbors, governmental red tape and a myriad of other challenges. Leslie's colleague Tom Haverford, who delights in exploiting his position for personal gain, is as likely to undermine her efforts as to help her, while her boss, Ron Swanson, is adamantly opposed to government in any form, even though he's a bureaucrat himself.       Jerzy H Season 1 was average. Just a bunch of akward gags with not much of a storyline but..it is definetely worth to stay and watch the season 2 and onwards Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/09/23 Full Review Cowni F Definitely the shows worst and most awkward season, because it just hasn't found its tone yet. Feels grounded enough in reality whilst being awkwardly funny, its in a familiar format but I like how this first season is a focused single plotline, felt more like a comedy movie split into parts than a season of tv, which was different. Not fully invested yet but its definitely left a good impression, especially with its cast of characters. Pawnee is known throughout the United States for being shaped by numerous economic and social problems. For example, it is the fourth largest city in the United States with the highest rate of obesity. In mockumentary style, Parks and Recreation accompanies the employees of the Pawnee Parks Department. This office is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of Pawnee's parks and recreational facilities. The Parks Bureau is chaired by Ron Swanson, who has to argue with his deputy director Leslie Knope on a daily basis. "Parks and Recreation" isn't nearly as good as "The Office", but it's also a very good and funny creation by the creator of both series.
