Season 3 – Parks and Recreation

      2011 Comedy List
100% 23 Reviews Tomatometer 97% 500+ Ratings Audience Score Leslie Knope, a midlevel bureaucrat in an Indiana Parks and Recreation Department, hopes to beautify her town (and boost her own career) by helping local nurse Ann Perkins turn an abandoned construction site into a community park, but what should be a fairly simple project is stymied at every turn by oafish bureaucrats, selfish neighbors, governmental red tape and a myriad of other challenges. Leslie's colleague Tom Haverford, who delights in exploiting his position for personal gain, is as likely to undermine her efforts as to help her, while her boss, Ron Swanson, is adamantly opposed to government in any form, even though he's a bureaucrat himself. Critics Consensus

Parks and Recreation's cast finally feels complete with the delightful additions of Rob Lowe and Adam Scott in a romantic third season that fully fleshes out Pawnee as an amusingly retrograde microcosm of America.

Andrew Billen Times (UK) "Parks" has been much aided by the arrival of Rob Lowe as the most ebullient accountant ever... Yet from the dialogue to the pacing there is still a feeling Parks does not know whether it wants to be The Office or Arrested Development. Rated: 3/4 Oct 11, 2019 Full Review Patrick Smith Daily Telegraph (UK) Began its life as a pale imitation of The Office, but has evolved into one of the funniest sitcoms on either side of the Atlantic: a warm and witty mockumentary that never slips into maudlin sentimentality. Rated: 5/5 Oct 11, 2019 Full Review Willa Paskin Salon.com If championing good old fashion niceness makes Parks a throwback to a simpler sitcom era, it hasn't made it any less funny. Oct 11, 2019 Full Review Ross Ruediger Bullz-Eye.com To steal some verbiage from the show's earnestly lovable lunkhead Andy Dwyer, "Parks and Rec" is awesomesauce. Rated: 5/5 Oct 11, 2019 Full Review Ethan Anderton Collider There's no denying the chemistry this cast has, and the sheer brilliance in writing delivered in every single episode. Oct 10, 2019 Full Review Joe Reid Decider A triumph of many things: great casting, sharp writing, but most of all it was a triumph of tone. When the show was at its best, Parks & Rec mastered a kind of feel-good comedy that felt neither condescending nor brainless. Oct 10, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

noah g rest in peace lil sebastian, you will be missed Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/24 Full Review Cowni F One of the best seasons of one of the funniest and most heartfelt and uplifting sitcoms of all time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/27/23 Full Review Jakey B A perfect sit-com season and easily the best of the show so far. So many excellent episodes and two great new comers who compliment the cast wonderfully, making the show feel whole. Lots of hilarious moments, lots of fun romance and new plotlines. This season might have peaked a bit early but every episode had me excited to see these characters and they find quick ways of consistently keeping the series moving in fresh directions. Loved this season and if they can keep this quality up, it will be a contender for one of the best sit-coms of all time. Zabijacz czasu, niezły do oglądania kątem oka przy robieniu czegoś innego. Wolne tempo. Bardzo mocno przerysowane postacie, mało zmieniają się wraz z fabułą Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Lauren The addition of Ben Wyatt and Chris Traeger added to this being a fan favourite season Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/27/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
