Season 7 – Parks and Recreation

      2015 Comedy List
89% 27 Reviews Tomatometer 92% 500+ Ratings Audience Score Leslie Knope, a midlevel bureaucrat in an Indiana Parks and Recreation Department, hopes to beautify her town (and boost her own career) by helping local nurse Ann Perkins turn an abandoned construction site into a community park, but what should be a fairly simple project is stymied at every turn by oafish bureaucrats, selfish neighbors, governmental red tape and a myriad of other challenges. Leslie's colleague Tom Haverford, who delights in exploiting his position for personal gain, is as likely to undermine her efforts as to help her, while her boss, Ron Swanson, is adamantly opposed to government in any form, even though he's a bureaucrat himself. Willa Paskin Slate The [finale] congratulated itself for its own sweetness, instead of recognizing that a hint of sourness has always been part of what made Parks and Recreation so delicious. Oct 11, 2019 Full Review Ben Travers indieWire The show's progressive ideals were honored while its heroically "small" home was martyred for the cause. Rated: B Oct 11, 2019 Full Review Amy Plitt Rolling Stone The series' co-creator and showrunner Mike Schur took a risk by fast-forwarding the storyline several years into the future, showing life in the fictional Indiana city of Pawnee circa 2017. That gamble, for the most part, paid off. Oct 11, 2019 Full Review J.M. Suarez PopMatters What has always made Parks and Recreation more than just a collection of great bits and one-liners (though it has plenty of both) has been its impeccable characterizations. Leslie Knope is a hero... but she's also human. Oct 11, 2019 Full Review Kevin Fallon The Daily Beast While this final season has... sharpened its satire of our dependence on technological connection over human interaction, the most blatant social commentary that could be mined from Parks and Recreation is just how blissful that human interaction can be. Oct 10, 2019 Full Review Meghan O'Keefe Decider I'm not saying that binge-watching Parks and Recreation is as advisable as seeking help from a therapist or medical professional. I am merely stating that watching the show helped me gain new perspective on my life. Oct 10, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Craig B Easily the most overrated sitcom out there. Two maybe 3 seasons were better than average and never reach the great level. Four through 7 were poor. took me a long time to finally get through this last one and I skipped through the more boring sections. I think maybe Amy Poehler got so full of herself she could no longer be the butt of any jokes? Not sure just unwatchable at the end. More like a disney channel version of a sitcom. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/10/23 Full Review Andris D I know its a comedy, but still to see the feminist family destroying propaganda in action is quite a shame. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Drei d Another amazing season, I just binge watched the entire series again, and still, this season still is the best. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/03/23 Full Review Jakey B The Farewell season was able to not just be more of the same and definitely gave for a unique and unexpected finale, that focused on making a complete fitting ending to each of the characters. Takes a few episodes to catch up but once it does it all comes together to a very neatly satisfying conclusion that could have left things more open ended but the show never overstayed its welcome and always moved itself forward. This season might have moved too far forward but it was all in service of its characters and making sure the final season felt like something new and fresh. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Inne, nieco słabsze i bardziej nienaturalne "The Office". Zabijacz czasu, niezły do oglądania kątem oka przy robieniu czegoś innego. Wolne tempo. Bardzo mocno przerysowane postacie, mało zmieniają się wraz z fabułą Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review crustina d maybe the least funny, worst "comedy" series ever to be on television. Between this and Community, the world of humorous tv was put to death, awful awful awful. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
