Rose Byrne's blood, sweat, and tears are finally given a worthy bedrock as Physical finds its gyrating groove in this much-improved sophomore season.

Kristen Lopez indieWire There’s a buoyancy to this season that’s engaging. Though watching Season 1 of “Physical” helps establish the various characters, there’s enough separation of time that you could jump into the second season with only a cursory viewing of the first. Jun 16, 2022 Full Review Jeanine T. Abraham VisAbleBlackwoman (Medium) Sex, Sweat, and Spandex Season two of AppleTV+’s Supurb Series “Physical” is Back Rated: 5/5 Jul 22, 2023 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba Physical exists in a rut, and it has no interest in getting out of it. Moreover, while it bills itself as a dark comedy, the series is almost entirely devoid of humor, dark or otherwise. It is the most miserable show on television. Jul 29, 2022 Full Review Sarah Ward Concrete Playground Byrne plays Sheila with emotional dexterity to match the character's physical fitness... this smart and entertaining series from creator/writer/producer Annie Weisman (Suburgatory, The Path) does indeed have it all. Jun 25, 2022 Full Review Coleman Spilde The Daily Beast The dark comedy figured out where it went so wrong in its first season: It’s giving us the Rose Byrne ferocious ’80s aerobics instructor show we were all promised. Jun 18, 2022 Full Review Alci Rengifo Entertainment Voice What started as an intriguing enough concept gets better in the second season of Apple TV’s “Physical.” Jun 8, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

David J Ends on a cliffhanger and really interested in seeing where they go with it Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/19/23 Full Review Jared M Season 1 was great!…but sadly season 2 is just ok. I swear they must have hired new screenwriters, because it starts going woke by making cringy changes to some of the main characters. Completely changing the vibe. They even toned down Sheila's harsh inner critic voice, like waaaay down. Which in my opinion was a staple aspect of the show. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/25/23 Full Review Jan E This show is quirky & approaches a very serious topic, bingeing & purging, while showing what it was like in the exercise & fitness weird Nineties. And Rose Byrne is perfection Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/08/23 Full Review Karyn A. K. F Keep the new seasons coming! 🙌☮️ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/18/23 Full Review David J Couldn't continue to watch this after E02S02! None of the characters are interesting! This is a total freak show! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/18/23 Full Review McJana T Loved it! This show captures the angst inherent in having an eating disorder and negative self-talk that goes along with it. I didnt think I'd be able to hang for long because its not very funny. Then, I started rooting for the heroine. Its pretty honest and soul-bearing and you find out the underlying roots which often lie at the heart of such disorders, childhood trauma.internalized in self-hatred and distrust of others. Rose Byrne kicks ass in seasons 1 and 2 and Platonic, I love it!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
