"Pose" is a drama spotlighting the legends, icons and ferocious house mothers of New York's underground ball culture, a movement that gained notice in the 1980s. After receiving life-altering news and losing her first real home, Blanca starts her own "house," a self-selected family that provides support to LGBTQ youth rejected by their birth families. Making television history, "Pose" features the largest cast of transgender actors in series regular roles, as well as the largest recurring cast of LGBTQ actors ever for a scripted series.

Season 3 at times borders on Misery Porn, I didn't like the Pray Tell arc, but I loved the wedding episode. Papi and Angel really grew on me over the last three seasons. The short length of this one meant that most other characters fell off the wagon, however.

This final season brings a new dimension to queer love and the stories of people of colour and predominantly transgender women of colour being shared with us on the small screen. Pose is powerful, emotional, bold, incredibly heartfelt and the kind of absolute queer TV joy that everyone deserves to watch!!🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Truly incredible acting from the cast and such beautifully written scenes!!! 1000% GO WATCH NOW if you haven't already!!!! I wish they'd continue making this incredible show and it didn't have to end on its third season. I'll definitely be re-watching ❤️❤️❤️

Pose is truly magnificent, it successfully represents these characters as living beings without ever falling in the traps of stereotypes and tokenism. Every flaw this season might have can be easily forgiven.
