Audience Member My kid and I were so disappointed when we made it through all the episodes of this show since it is so funny and well done. We definitely want more of Rob Riggle Global Investigator. Even though I'd imagine most of Rob's guests knew his shtick, his bombastic American over-the-top persona up against the more reserved European experts feels so real that I forgot it's a shtick. It's an entertaining show which does a great job at exploring historical mysteries in new hilarious ways. I'd imagine this is a very expensive show to produce for the Discovery Channel (???), so I'm gonna blindly call out to Disney to use Mickey's dollars to buy the rights of this show so they can continue to produce it. Thanks in advance! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Rob is hilarious and gets SO excited on his quests. For a history lover it's great watching this type of show that isn't overly serious and is true to the real history. Just a fun light show. Rob is great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It may not be for a everyone, but it had me crying I was laughing so hard! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Rob is very funny and a great host for this show which investigates theories and around historical mysteries and events such as Atlantis, the holy grail, pirates, etc. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I mean, it's Rob Riggle! He has the perfect mix of smart, charming, lovable, ridiculous, idiotic deadpan humor...oh, and you learn a thing or two about historical stuff. It's a great kick back, I need a break from the seriousness of this crazy world, but you don't want to watch something that is completely mindless. The show has a great balance AND BETTER HAVE A SECOND SEASON!!! ***Edit Addition: He has a goofy sarcastic sense of humor. I believe that he is not exactly what he portrays, he's an ACTOR and it's a TV show! Meaning, the experts likely were informed of the type of character Rob would be playing. It's not necessarily disrespect, it's playfulness. The guy had a full career in the military. I'm sure that humbled him more than you see on TV. Give the guy a break and appreciate the uniqueness of him and the show. It took me an episode or two before I was giggling and face-palming as much as I do when I watch him on Holey Moley; which will prep you for his comedic style if you watch that show before this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved it!! RR is hilarious and proved to be something to look forward to on Thursdays. Kept me laughing!
