"RuPaul's Drag Race" is a reality show in which a group of talented drag queens compete in challenges to impress host RuPaul, the world's most famous drag queen, to win a cash prize along with a crown and the title of America's Next Drag Superstar. Each episode consists of a main challenge, usually some form of performance or fashion design -- sometimes both. The queens then participate in a themed runway show, where one is declared the winner of that week, while two others are announced to be up for elimination. The bottom two must then compete to stay on the show with a lip-sync for their lives.

Joey Guerra Houston Chronicle RuPaul swoops in with a celebrity photo bomb mini challenge. It's a good indicator of who's here to truly play, which seems to be pretty much everyone. Ross Matthews is right -- this is a strong season. Apr 1, 2020 Full Review Kate Kulzick AV Club Season 11's finale delivered solid lip-syncs, a number of striking looks, and most importantly, a satisfying and interesting winner. Apr 1, 2020 Full Review Joey Nolfi Entertainment Weekly As is tradition in Drag Race, the flub is now an iconic masterpiece of digital art. Apr 1, 2020 Full Review Brett White Decider When it comes to drama, Season 11 is doing us right. We've got clear rivalries here. Apr 1, 2020 Full Review EJ Moreno Flickering Myth RuPaul's Drag Race Season 11 is off to a big and bold start. The exhaustion of so many seasons is wearing off, and the hype feels all too real. Apr 1, 2020 Full Review Marco Saveriano Culturess It was fun to see the girls getting a little thirsty over the Pit Crew, but it was even more enjoyable for them to finally do something that didn't involve quick drag. Garrett H Yikes, seasons 1 and 12 are the only seasons worse than this. Definitely a low point. Outside of the two lip syncs of Yvie and Brooklyn Heights, this entire season is a skip. The drama in this season is obnoxious, uninteresting, and hard to watch. Skip and watch the lip syncs unless you're planning on watching every season. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/08/23 Full Review Audience Member To say Vanjie carried the season was an understatement. It was painfully obvious when certain Queens should've been long gone but were kept around as they were loud and could provide plenty of conflict for the show to produce. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member 6/1/2019 After two disappointing All Stars seasons and a "meh!" Season 10, RPDR slightly redeemed itself by having a steady mix of boring, loudmouthed, shady and unique queens. There was no drought of annoying queens for this season as there were at least two of them. But it also saw one of the most epic showdowns resulting in a double shantay-you-stay. Not to spoil but the most likeable queen also won the Miss Congeniality trophy. And to top it all off, the most deserving queen won! The onstage and backstage drama would be comparable to Seasons 4 and 5 so this gives this season high points for me. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This used to be an enjoyable show, now the competition seems so contrived and it lost credibility somehow. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Rupal proves he is an unstoppable word smith, capable of creating great TV championing the LGBTI+ community with pride! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Not the BEST season of RuPaul Drag Race ever... Really could have gone without Silky... She was a complete annoyance. However, there were a slew of other amazing girls to enjoy. I suppose Silky stayed for the sake of DRAMA rather than for her ability in Drag.
