Coleman Spilde The Daily Beast Maybe it’s the fact that the money is going someplace other than these queens’ own bank accounts that makes All Stars 9 so lighthearted. This really is RuPaul’s Best Friend Race. May 17, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Taj M One of the most boring seasons of All Stars. A strong cast, but the non-elimination format ruined it. There are no stakes, no drive to tune in. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/26/24 Full Review Audience Member Roxxxy should have won. Angeria did nothing the whole season just stood there disgust. rigged Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/26/24 Full Review Shane B The rigging of this season is insane. If they are going to rig the show they should at least make it less obvious. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/26/24 Full Review Denise W I love this season! These queens are fierce. The makeup, the fashion, and the talent is huge! I know it’s a very positive season and the drama is minimal and that’s not for everyone. But in this crazy and negative world, it’s refreshing to watch. Every episode, I laugh out loud or I am teary eye. Often both at the same time. The badge stuff is hokey as hell but it’s RuPaul…What did you expect? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/26/24 Full Review J P This is hands down the worst season of all stars. The non elimination factor completely ruins the show because the stakes are low. I’m fine with the cast of queens but we’re missing the drama! I want to see the girls cry i want alliances i want back stabbing i want DRAMA and there is none. The non elimination factor should have been kept for all winners not a regular all stars season. I pray season 10 brings back eliminations otherwise I’m gunna pass on watching that. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/14/24 Full Review Joy D It's great to see these queens back on TV. I also enjoy the non-elimination format because we get to see more of the relationships between the queens. Of course, the format only works when you have amazing & experienced queens. I felt the same way about All Stars 7. However, All Stars 9 actually critiques the queens (but respectfully, i.e., not like in a regular season). The lack of criticism was the one thing I didn't like about All Stars 7. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/26/24 Full Review Read all reviews
