Coleman Spilde The Daily Beast Maybe it’s the fact that the money is going someplace other than these queens’ own bank accounts that makes All Stars 9 so lighthearted. This really is RuPaul’s Best Friend Race. May 17, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Martin F There is definitely a step up with the contestant selection since the last season, all of them are what you would qualify as All-Stars but they are also talented and very diverse in style. It was still a boring season, despite the exciting lip-synch episode, most of the challenges are too common now in the franchise to be exciting, and the lack of elimination really put down any stakes. It doesn't work as All-Stars Winners, where you could understand the no-elimination process because they needed to be respectful of the show's best of the best. Here, the cast is good but they don't justify being treated as an All-Winners season. Also, the fact that the grand prize is for charity removes any few stakes left. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/05/24 Full Review Calvin M I would have to say that this season definitely lacked luster. It could be the fact that they are playing for charity but I didn’t see the drive. Also most are comparing this season to Rpdr all stars season 7 because that season was so well executed. The queens really elevated their looks. I wasn’t happy with this mediocre season. The cast was a bit rough their could have been better. But again this could have been because it’s charity based it took away from the competition aspect of it. The looks were subpar. Normally I’m excited about rpdr but this season sucked big time. I’m looking forward to the next season to etch a better image in my brain 😂😂. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/28/24 Full Review José Martín Á What is the meaning of a competition if the one that did the best work is not even in the top 3? Doing a talent show on the last episode and giving the win to those who are, objectively, not the best ones on the challenge is just disrespectful to the competitors, to the format, to the art, and to the audience... Just sad Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/27/24 Full Review bruno A What's the point of doing well all season so that in the end anyone can win? I'm disappointed. So frustrating, I still can't believe what I watched, the season was going so well for it to end like this. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/27/24 Full Review Taj M One of the most boring seasons of All Stars. A strong cast, but the non-elimination format ruined it. There are no stakes, no drive to tune in. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/26/24 Full Review Audience Member Roxxxy should have won. Angeria did nothing the whole season just stood there disgust. rigged Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/26/24 Full Review Read all reviews
