"Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes is the creative mind behind this ABC drama. Olivia Pope, a former media consultant to the president, is ready to move on with her life and opens her own crisis-management firm, but she can't seem to shake ties with her past. Olivia's staff includes Quinn Perkins, who has a complicated history, and hacker extraordinaire Huck. As she moves forward it becomes clear that, while her staffers may specialize in cleaning up the lives of other people, they can't seem to do the same for themselves.

Jessica Derschowitz Entertainment Weekly It feels like early Scandal episodes in the best way. Jun 26, 2018 Full Review Joshua Alston New York Magazine/Vulture Scandal is a political thriller at its core, so the election cycle breathes new life into the story, capitalizing on Mellie's presidential ambitions and exploring the nuances of her professional relationship with Olivia, her former romantic rival. Apr 19, 2018 Full Review Richard Vine Guardian Scandal is a hyperreal night-time soap that plays out with almost cosmic efficiency. Dec 6, 2015 Full Review Samantha Coley Tell-Tale TV Mellie has gone toe to toe with Fitz many times in the past, and I never get tired of watching it. Karis R The show is decent but absurd. I don't mind scandals and all the drama and sex. The characters are all great, well except for one. And sadly thats the main one, Olivia Pope. She is an awful character that is insanely spoiled and out of touch with reality. Yeah they all belong in jail at some point, but Olivia belongs there and needs to answer for her sins more than anyone. I hate when shows make the main character always right and have the character be absolved of their crimes. She has no "white hat" and it's terrible when the writers act like she does. So it's sad that the main character ruined this show. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/25/19 Full Review Audience Member Excelente es muy excelente Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member THIS SHOW SUCKS NOW. ALL THE CHARACTERS HAS NO MIND AT ALL. THERE IS NO REAL STORY OR CONFLICT. OLIVIA IS THE WORST CHARACTER IVE EVER WATCHED. CAN NOT BELIEVE THEY CONTINUED AFTER THIS SEASON. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME THE WRITERS RUINED THIS BEYOND REPAIR. NO STORY LINE NO REALNESS IN CHARACTERS AT ALL. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Scandal is just running out of time and keeps reusing tropes and previous storylines. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A show that did not disappoint. Shonda Rhimes really tells a story around a bonfire of millions of people about the nation that she's building. Outstanding performance for Kerry and my all time favorite character - Huck. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Needs to go back to Basics. OPA was basically Non-Existent. To much focus on the White House, and Presidential Campaigns Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
