No clue what that has to do with character development (underdevelopment maybe) but there was no reason for it. It genuinely just took away from the plot line and made it seem like it was just an excuse for the series to be "diverse" or "inclusive" as if there weren’t already two GAY ghosts in the school? At that point, they are just pulling so much random shit into the series it’s hard to keep track. Also, I felt like it was unnecessary to the story and was so poorly designed into the plot and episode that it made me turn it off immediately. Do not be fooled- this is one of the best written shows out there and one of the best YA shows in a generation. If you haven't seen it- you are missing out. Season three is INCREDIBLE.
