Jack Gould New York Times The virtue of "Sesame Street" is that it is not a formal school -- it is a childhood experience of the limitless wonders of the world. Mar 25, 2019 Full Review Les Brown Variety It could be wishful thinking, but "Sesame" may well be the opening volley in an entirely new kind of television that exploits the medium's faults and turns them into virtues. Mar 25, 2019 Full Review Kay Gardella New York Daily News Sesame Street is not only a nice place for preschool children to visit daily, it's also a place, we're sure, where a lot of 3 to 6-year-olds would like to live if they could. Feb 9, 2018 Full Review Margot Hentoff Vogue Sesame Street is a marvel of technical excellence. It is wildly attention rivetting, almost hypnotic for adults as children. Letters and numbers light up the screen like a pinball machine. Jun 20, 2023 Full Review Emily Ashby Common Sense Media Sesame Street capitalizes on kids' natural love of learning and celebrates diversity by exploring different cultures and incorporating both Muppet and human characters of all ages, colors, races, and physical abilities. Mar 25, 2019 Full Review Josh Jackson Paste Magazine The residents of Sesame Street never skimped on entertainment in the name of education or education in the name of entertainment.
