WazzupMyBoyz I did like the new format, the introduction of Nina, the new closing theme, and the new set. But...there were some problems. I HATED the new theme song (please, don't listen to it), and hated how episode repeats increased by the end of the season. Even the departures of Leela and Mando were bad, too. Overall, I liked season 46 for almost everything. 👍 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I really enjoyed it, very educational for kids and fun for adults. Only this season there was no origin, then the previous season (which was the best so far) this was a decession. Verne Gay Newsday There are lots of other small touches - or technical flourishes - along with new cast members, notably Nina. Otherwise, best of luck finding anything radically different because there isn't all that much that's changed. Mar 25, 2019 Full Review Elissa Strauss Slate The show's changed a lot over the years, but, thankfully, its lessons in humor and good will persist. Mar 25, 2019 Full Review Don Kaplan New York Daily News A look at the first pay cable episode of the iconic kids show reveals that it offers the same mix of fun, education and goofiness that has kept "Sesame Street" a powerhouse piece of programming for 46 years. Mar 25, 2019 Full Review Emily Ashby Common Sense Media It's unusual to wish for more time in a preschool show, but that's what these newer Sesame Street episodes leave you wanting. Mar 25, 2019 Full Review Kevin Fallon The Daily Beast Sure, Sesame Street has been gentrified, but it hasn't lost its charms. How you get to Sesame Street might be different, but the destination? As familiar as ever. Mar 25, 2019 Full Review Dan Seifert The Verge Perhaps two episodes in is too early to judge and my lens is tinted with nostalgia for the Sesame Street I grew up with, but I can't say I'm thrilled with the new show.
