Alan Sepinwall Uproxx Again, it's a vast improvement over nearly everything the series had to offer a year ago...But at the same time the new episodes are serving as an antidote to last season's failed experiment, they're also functioning as a defense of it. Jan 16, 2019 Full Review Zack Handlen AV Club The fourth season of Sons Of Anarchy was fine, occasionally amazing, often absurd, and, in the end, full of unanswered prayers. I'll probably be back next year. But I won't expect much. Rated: B- Jan 15, 2019 Full Review William Thomas Empire Magazine The high point, though, is tension between Clay and Jax finally coming to a head. Rated: 4/5 Nov 1, 2017 Full Review Matt Richenthal TV Fanatic Following an uneven third season that took the club out to Ireland, and used the members in a chess game between other players in whom the audience had little invested, [Season 4] essentially hit the reset button. Rated: 4.8/5 Jan 16, 2019 Full Review Kelly West CinemaBlend he themes aren't all that different than they were back when the series first began. Perspectives have been altered somewhat, but SAMCRO is what it has always been. It's Charming that's changing. Jan 16, 2019 Full Review Seth Freilich Pajiba I get that "Sons of Anarchy" is a pulpy mess of a show that somehow, despite itself, managed to have one exceptional season. Army H The talent that the show brought back from thw original was very good, and smart writing by Sutter. The season also had a very good story with what's going on between the Sons and law enforcement, the addition of the Galindo Cartel was necessary to keep the story going. All in all, it was a very good season. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/27/24 Full Review Regal R 70/100 - i really wanted to like this show, but its just so mediocre. prepare for "there's always something" the writers cant just let sleeping dogs lie. if every single decision has a plot twist, then its just as predictable as not having any plot twists. it just keeps you in this weird anxious feeling where you can never enjoy the show because you know there's always going to be some weird garbage. super predictable and cliche show. it has some bizarre moments that make you laugh but its not haha funny, its a "this is so bad" its funny. if you want some comfort food with a lot of boring drama this is for you Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/28/23 Full Review Benjamin H By reverting to a more standard procedure with a top-notch ensemble, Sons of Anarchy manages to brace way for its most riveting, dramatic and intense season yet while perfectly treating its masterful cast of characters and having a smartly written plot. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/07/23 Full Review Jon D Phenomenal heart wrenching story. If you like crime dramas with a ton of action, this is for you. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the best show I've ever seen.
