The animated series is not for children. In fact, its goal seems to be to offend as many as possible as it presents the adventures of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman. The show has taken on Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, politicians of every stripe and self-important celebrities. Oh, and Kenny is killed in many episodes.

Stuart W. Bedford What Culture Quest for Ratings is a hilarious episode laced with Matt and Trey's healthy disdain for making T.V. Sep 16, 2013 Full Review Terry Sawyer PopMatters I remain a huge South Park fan, even if its politics leave me leery and its celebrity hatred seems excessive. Sep 11, 2013 Full Review Jesse Hicks PopMatters Despite the frenetic pace of production, Season Eight is a solid one, offering some enjoyable episodes and the occasional bit of sharp-eyed satire. Pickatcu 1 Easily the best use of "The Passion of the Christ" in a television episode...I truly believe that the South park writers are truly in love with Mel Gibson... Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/20/23 Full Review Sean M South Park season 8 does not disappoint in one of or it's best season yet. The episodes are well thought out and put together very nicely, the comedy is on point and has some of the most absurdly crass and jawdroppingly hilarious moments from the whole series. Personally, the episode "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset" is the perfect combination of comedy, message, and story as it still has a lot of relevant material in it and reflects on our society just as much as it was in 2004. in conclusion, South Park season 8 has proved itself to be the best season of the series with some of the funniest, raunchiest, and most disgusting scenes in all of South Park. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/15/23 Full Review Jcr J The best season by far funniest, most entertaining ,best episodes, contains the best episode and so much more things that would take ♾️ years for me to say!
