The animated series is not for children. In fact, its goal seems to be to offend as many as possible as it presents the adventures of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman. The show has taken on Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, politicians of every stripe and self-important celebrities. Oh, and Kenny is killed in many episodes.

James Poniewozik TIME Magazine "Dead Celebrities" main plot didn't do much for me. There wasn't much more point to it than pointing out that a lot of famous people died this summer. Sep 11, 2013 Full Review Genevieve Koski AV Club The incorporation of The Dark Knight, The Spirit, and Spider-Man 3 (Am I missing other references? I'm sure I am.) led to a lot of funny, if maybe a tad obvious gags. Rated: B+ Sep 10, 2013 Full Review Sean O'Neal AV Club O yea, o yea! Benevolent South Park creators, hear our admonitions. Ye have displeased us more than is our wont, yet still, even when ye fall short, it is only because we know ye can do better. Rated: C- Sep 10, 2013 Full Review Ramsey Isler IGN Movies Season 13 had more cultural impact than most animated series could ever dream of. Sure, it wasn't always great, and previous seasons have been better, but the series sure is doing well for its age. Rated: 7.8/10 Mar 11, 2019 Full Review Kofi Outlaw Screen Rant The result was, of course, pretty funny. Sep 11, 2013 Full Review Marjorie Kase Common Sense Media Shocking, offensive and hilarious, South Park continues to undermine authority with its creative and insightful critiques of the media, politics, and celebrity hype. Rated: 4/5 Sep 9, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews

Jone L My top 2 season of SP Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/25 Full Review David C Es buena la temporada aún que el último capítulo si se pasaron Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/05/24 Full Review Enchanted M Same as season 12, season 13 is also a really great season that does have some low points. This season introduces South Park to the superhero franchise plot line which easily outdoes all of season 12 on its own, but besides that the rest of the season is pretty great on its own. Episodes like "The Ring" and "Whale Whores" are actually a bit better than "The Coon" episode. There isn't too much to say but that season 13 does not reach higher than season 12 does since of how amazing "Breast Cancer Show Ever" is an all time fan favorite, but season 13 is more consistent in making good episodes so season 12 and 13 have the same 4/5 star rating. Even though some episodes are definitely lacking some quality compared to other episodes, season 13 is still a great season of South Park showing that the show isn't dipping just yet. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Audience Member This show is one of the best Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It's funny, and it never gets old. 5/5 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Another funny and smart one! Imagine giving birth to a master peace every week for 13 years. I respect them for not yet having turned into dickheads. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
