The animated series is not for children. In fact, its goal seems to be to offend as many as possible as it presents the adventures of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman. The show has taken on Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, politicians of every stripe and self-important celebrities. Oh, and Kenny is killed in many episodes.

James Poniewozik TIME Magazine The brilliantly goofy sequence sends up the style of Dr. Seuss, but it also points up some parallels between him and Trey and Matt that I would not otherwise have thought of. Sep 11, 2013 Full Review Marcus Gilmer AV Club South Park and politics have always been a terrific mix, with the topic bringing the best out in the show's sharp satire. Rated: A Sep 10, 2013 Full Review Ryan McGee AV Club If "Reverse Cowgirl" wasn't the most laugh-out-loud funny the show's done in the recent past, it... certainly had sharp points to make about government encroachment in the lives of Americans. Rated: A- Sep 10, 2013 Full Review Ryan Levee We Got This Covered As always, it feels good to watch Trey Parker and Matt Stone stick it to the man. Mar 11, 2019 Full Review Chris Longo Den of Geek BOOM BABY, they did it again. Mar 11, 2019 Full Review Eric Hochberger TV Fanatic My favorite part? Enchanted M South Park season 16 is fantastic, enough said. All the way through this season is fun and doesn't lose steam. You can say what you want about "I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining" but whether you hate it or love it, it definitely deserves respect for trying something fresh. Other than that the season is incredible and has some of the best episodes in years, "Butterballs" honestly might be the most rewatchable episode there is due to the absolutely hilarious plotlines and neither drag on for too long and end perfectly, and when talking about "Butterballs" the two songs in it have to be mentioned due to how catchy each of them are and how well written they are, honestly "San Diego" has been stuck in my head for weeks since I watched this episodes. There isn't as much to say about the rest of the episodes other than that they're all really enjoyable and very much worth your time. South Park season 16 is hilarious, inventive, and overall fun! This is a must watch season for anyone having trouble sticking with South Park after the last couple seasons. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/24/23 Full Review Dionisis T Probably the best and the realest season so far in the history of South Park tv series, brilliant and totally hilarious! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Best South Park Season imo. There are some really close contenders though. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite some underwhelming episodes, this season is great Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It has some very good episodes. But also especially one very bad one at least for my taste. This is the weakest season in South Parks entire run for me. At least until now. Well I hope it's gonna stay like that. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member All the episodes in this season are very good, but they aren't great. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
