Andy Dehnart Reality Blurred They found a terrific cast full of big personalities, but made terrible decisions such as nullifying the result of an immunity challenge and leaving an elimination up to random chance. The end result was that there was far less reason to be invested May 29, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Naomi P I LOVE survivor, but they need to go back to 39 days asap cause 26 days is just plain boring. Also, to many twists. One or two a season is fun, but if every episode has one it feels like there are no rules and the contestants don't even know what game they are playing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/05/23 Full Review Sean M Lost me with all the race talk. An alliance based on race goes against themes the show tries to hit on such as unity, acceptance and rising above. The cast is basically just entitled children. There's so much blatant bias and overt hate based on race/culture that it completely lost what it is to watch survivor. Putting that aside, there's no strategy. It's the most transparent episode ever so for that reason alone it lost its flavor. Survivor isn't the same when everyone announced their advantages and immunity necklaces; literally every single one everyone gets throughout the season. If you watch survivor, and skip this season altogether, you'll have missed nothing because this season is nothing. The only thing that makes it survivor is Jeff, and the clearly scripted attempts at political correctness are cringy and disingenuous. Maybe the demographic changed and they're trying to appeal to a new audience, who knows - either way it lost what makes it survivor. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/08/23 Full Review Brittney K [Spoiler Alert] A lot of potential thrown away at the end. Xander clearly played the best game. Erica winning was against everything Survivor stands for. Floating the entire game while being "kind" isn't good game play. Just a petty jury. Wasted hours leading up to a dumb ending. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/27/23 Full Review Kevin K Pathetic attempt to grasp as straws. From the uninteresting players to the underwhelming "twists". This show lost all of its character to what a few writers thought was "modern". Do not watch Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review J B I love survivor! HATED THIS SEASON!! If season 42 is this bad. I will stop watching. This was not the same show that I love. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/05/22 Full Review Audience Member It's 40 seasons too many. The show is stale and should be taken off the air. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
