Kenneth H Don’t be fooled by the first episode, keep watching to fall through the trap door. This isn’t “Noble” — this is more in line with The Jinx than anything else. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/11/25 Full Review Jenny L just a bad documentary. didn’t paint a clear picture or provide enough evidence to support all of the opinions being shared by the interviewees. And the ending is a blatantly manufactured wannabe copy of the Jinx. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/20/25 Full Review prawnda s boring, drawn out waste of time. hbo could easily do better, they simply choose to interview a bunch of people waxing poetic for as long as they possibly could. you guys just finished rehearsal season 2 and you think your fan base wants to see this drivel? i can't even watch it for laughs, it's just awfully made from start to finish despite there being plenty of viable subject matter to work with. the fact that the people in charge at hbo think people are going to watch an entire season when the first episode is this bad is just absolutely sociopathic. Episode 1 Aired Jun 1, 2025 The Lamb Funeral Home, a respected family-owned mortuary in Pasadena, descends into grisly practices after David Sconce, scion of the Lamb family, takes over the business. Deeply ambitious, Sconce covertly pursues extreme measures to beat his competitors. In 1985, a local funeral director, who starts making allegations about the crematorium’s high turnover rate, succumbs to a heart attack at 24. Details Episode 2 Aired Jun 8, 2025 When the Lamb Funeral Home’s crematorium is destroyed by a fire in 1986, David is undeterred and finds ways to expand the family business. As allegations of misdeeds mount, David is eventually arrested. When police investigate, they discover shocking evidence that points to David being possibly connected to the assault and later death of a rival mortician. Details Episode 3 Aired Jun 15, 2025 Members of the Lamb family are convicted of various crimes, including fraud. While in prison, a murder charge is brought against David for the death of his competitor, but in 1991, the charges are dropped due to a lack of hard evidence. In all, over 20,000 families were affected by the practices at the Lamb Funeral Home and David’s case brings about reforms and new regulations to the mortuary business. Details
