Starting over isn't easy, especially for small-town guy John Nolan, who, after a life-altering incident, is pursuing his dream of becoming an LAPD officer. As the force's oldest rookie, he's met with skepticism from some higher-ups who see him as just a walking midlife crisis. If he can't keep up with the young cops and the criminals, he'll be risking lives -- including his own -- but if he can use his life experience, determination and sense of humor to give him an edge, he may just become successful in this new chapter of his life.

John L I was planning to write a review when I finish the series but while watching the S4E19, it was when I said enough. The show started going down from season 3 but this episode is painful to watch. The season overall is ok, but had to give it a 2 star for all the wrong reasons it tries to make a point at. I was hoping that after S3 things will go better but I guess I was wrong. Edit: It gets even worse with the new trainee Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/10/24 Full Review J J The story line is ok but there is virtually no chemistry between any of the couples except maybe the Grey's. For me the other couples just aren't believable, not like Nathan and Stanna in Castle. Now Tim and Lucy are going to start dating??? He would be an idiot to be with her. I am a woman who respects well written female characters. The only interesting or entertaining female main characters is Harper. Lucy, Bailey, Lopez and now Juarez are just plain annoying to watch! This is one of the worst and poorly cast shows on TV. Juarez is some pseudo psychic rookie who seems to know better about everything than her far more experienced officers. In previous seasons both she and Thorrnson would have been fired on the spot for their unprofessionalism and insubordination. With the introduction of Juarez and now Tim and Lucy starting to date, I've seen enough and can't watch the show anymore!!!!!!
