Christina Grace Tucker New York Magazine/Vulture It would be much more fun to watch this foursome figure out how to say goodbye to one of their core members while at odds with each other. Rated: 2/5 Nov 22, 2024 Full Review Matthew Creith TheWrap There’s an empty feeling without Rapp’s presence that leaves a lot on the table for the once-great series. Some storylines are short-changed, some are wrapped up in a bow minutes after the drama ensues, and some don’t materialize any reasonable finality. Nov 19, 2024 Full Review Ally Ham The Review Geek Several plotlines are introduced only to be dropped within an episode or two, or for major developments to take place offscreen. Rated: 5/10 Feb 21, 2025 Full Review Alex Vena Decider The Sex Lives of College Girls remains a cheeky and amusing ode to the modern-day college experience and female friendships, despite fan-favorite Leighton’s (Rapp) impending transfer. Dec 6, 2024 Full Review Karlie Rogers Exclaim! The writers clearly have their work cut out for them. Rated: 6/10 Nov 21, 2024 Full Review Gillian Bennett Paste Magazine All the actresses are talented enough to draw you in and intrigue the audience at every little twist and turn. If only it had a bit more depth or consistency. Rated: 5.5/10 Nov 18, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Sarah C The first two episodes were disappointing because of leaving and stopping lots of storylines but the rest of the season and new characters are good. I hope they get a fourth season to get a proper run at storyline development Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/25 Full Review NASHVILLE I The offscreen problems ruined season 3. Unfortunately the exit of Rapp forced Kaling to backtrack or ignore serious cliffhangers from season 2, so knowing that season 3 just never felt real. None of the storylines in season 3 unfortunately feel very exciting....once the show went on hiatus and couldn't pursue the S2 storylines it never recovered. It's really a shame, this was on the way to being one of the better shows running. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/05/25 Full Review Lani B I loved Season 3. I was sad to see Reneé Rapp leave, and at first wasn't sure how I would feel about Kacey, but ended up loving her and her last scene had me in tears. Huge fan of Bela and loved her revelation at the end, and her evolution through the season as a wild and irresponsible, becoming a more thoughtful person while still maintaining her unique personality. I also loved seeing Kimberly break out of her rigidity and Whitney stand up for herself. I thought the show talked about a lot of real stuff while still being hilarious and fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/25 Full Review Robert M I think it's awesome that they fed Taylor Swift lyrics and Teen Cosmos to a girl boss AI model and let it write the last two seasons. One character "majors in STEM." Genius. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/29/25 Full Review Ashley S Maybe I don't understand professional critics and reviews, but I don't know how they reviewed an entire season in November. There's also a lot of people simply leaving bad reviews because one person isn't on the show anymore (and she wasn't that great anyway!) the only downside on this season due to that character departure is not seeing her dad anymore, he was hilarious. I've enjoyed every season of this show so far. The writing is always on point, thought provoking, and hilarious. Season 3 is no different, and having just watched the finale, I'm really bummed not getting to look forward to the new episode and having to wait for a new season. Mindy Kaling has been knocking it out of the park with her projects lately. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/25 Full Review Danilo S Unfortunately, the third season ruined one of our favorite shows, a show that was amazing so far. The third season lacks substance and uses many cliches or props that the series used before. The last episode of the series is the pinnacle of bad and and you finished watching very sad because thinking about the good times. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/25 Full Review Read all reviews
