Christina Grace Tucker New York Magazine/Vulture It would be much more fun to watch this foursome figure out how to say goodbye to one of their core members while at odds with each other. Rated: 2/5 Nov 22, 2024 Full Review Matthew Creith TheWrap There’s an empty feeling without Rapp’s presence that leaves a lot on the table for the once-great series. Some storylines are short-changed, some are wrapped up in a bow minutes after the drama ensues, and some don’t materialize any reasonable finality. Nov 19, 2024 Full Review Alex Vena Decider The Sex Lives of College Girls remains a cheeky and amusing ode to the modern-day college experience and female friendships, despite fan-favorite Leighton’s (Rapp) impending transfer. Dec 6, 2024 Full Review Karlie Rogers Exclaim! The writers clearly have their work cut out for them. Rated: 6/10 Nov 21, 2024 Full Review Gillian Bennett Paste Magazine All the actresses are talented enough to draw you in and intrigue the audience at every little twist and turn. If only it had a bit more depth or consistency. Rated: 5.5/10 Nov 18, 2024 Full Review Taylor Gates Collider This is one friend group you’ll want to follow into sophomore year and long after graduation day. Michael G I really hope this show continues for as long as possible. Season 3 isn't quite as good as the first two, mostly because of Renee Rapp leaving the show. The absence of the Leighton character is definitely felt. However, I still enjoy the other characters and am glad the show is moving forward without her. It's such a fun, easy watch that I eagerly anticipate each week. I typically watch the new episodes on Thursdays, making it the only show I feel compelled to watch as soon as it airs. Despite my concerns about the show's future beyond Season 3, its consistent popularity on MAX each week suggests there's still a strong viewer base. While it may never recapture the magic of the initial seasons, I believe the show can overcome the setback of losing Renee Rapp. They just need to find their rhythm again, which may not happen this season, but I'm optimistic about future seasons. I would love to see the show continue for many more seasons, even following the characters post-graduation, though that would necessitate a title change. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/19/24 Full Review S F Season 1 and 2 were watchable, entertaining. Season 3 falls off a cliff, unwatchable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/14/24 Full Review Marcela C Season 1 and 2 are def a must watch. The writing was funny and super relatable. First few episodes of Season 3 have really been suffering. The most compelling storyline got resolved almost instantly, the writing hasn't been quite the same, and don't get me started on the exit of our queen Renee Rapp. It's quite noticeable how much of all this was resting on her shoulders. I binged 1 and 2 in a day, season 3 I found myself doing chores and checking my phone a lot in between certain scenes. I hope they find a way to bring it back around for season 4, because I really like this show. And for the love of gawd bring Renee back! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/06/24 Full Review Sanmary S The show is still 🔥 👌 but I'm just sad that Renee had to leave, but anyway I'm still hyped for what is installed🥰 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/30/24 Full Review Ruby M I know only one episode came out so far but I am obsess with it 😍😍 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/22/24 Full Review micah c I missed this show a lot and the characters so much. I’m so sad the Renee decided to step down from the show but at-least we will get to see her go instead of just leaving in general. I think there will be part of the show that will be missed when she leaves so I hope the new characters have a charm to them like Leighton did. I enjoyed the premiere very much, made me laugh a few times. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/22/24 Full Review Read all reviews
