      Season 18 – The Simpsons

      2006 Holiday Comedy Animation List
Reviews 71% 100+ Ratings Audience Score This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum. Jeffrey M Season 18 was an okay season. There were some really good episodes, but there was my least favorite Simpsons episode of all time in this season, The Boys of Bummer. Some episodes that I liked were The Mook, The Chief, The Wife, and Her Homer, 24 Minutes, and the underrated gem, Stop Or My Dog Will Shot. Some of the episodes I didn't like were Kill Gil, Volume 1 & 2, Jazzy and the Puzzycats, and my least favorite Simpsons episode ever, The Boys of Bummer. I didn't hate the annual Treehouse of Horror this season, but it still doesn't live up to the classic Treehouses of Horror. This season was better than last season though, with many many good episodes. I give this season a 68%. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/24/23 Full Review Jackson S A nice season. I have nothing else to say at this point Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review johnathon w Another solid season that managed to also deliver a classic episode or two, with the "24 Minutes" being a superb parody of "24", complete with Kieffer Sutherland guest starring. Another solid watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member It's still good. But not as wholesome as it once was. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Season 18 is better than season 17 with some more intriguing and fun plotlines, but season 18 shows signs of the Scully era with some scattershot stories and characterization. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny at times but sometimes it isn't funny at all, show has been going on too long now i think, overall it is isn't too bad Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Robert Canning IGN Movies If there's any program that could possibly recapture the magic of its best seasons, especially based on the two great episodes that ended the year, our bet is on The Simpsons. Rated: 6.6 Oct 30, 2017 Full Review Josh Kurp Uproxx ... the instance someone decided that Grampa should fall in love with Selma, "They'll Never Stop The Simpsons" became prophetic.
