Andrei D Very well acted and focused on some heavy stuff but lacks larger context and moves very slowly Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/25 Full Review Craig H World class Stephen Graham acting(a very very underrated actor) and from the whole cast. Just brilliant gritty story about facing your past Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Audience Member Never posted a review for any film or series, made an account today to give The Virtues 5 stars. Will not disappoint! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review Claire M Not much moves me to tears but this series is so brave, covering difficult subjects with sensitivity, twice I was sobbing. Stephen Graham is, as usual, incredible as are Niamh Altar and Helen Behan. Brilliantly written and executed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/27/23 Full Review colin m Portrait of a British male. Parts 1 and 4 (of four) were very good. Parts 2 and 3 were weaker. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I've never left a review for a TV drama but I've just watched the first episode with the scene of the family around the dinner table and it was phenomenal. The acting and script were spot on and is the best I've ever seen, so I know the rest is going to be very well written and directed. What makes it so real is the attention to detail and 'normal' conversations which are often missed from UK TV dramas and more present in foreign dramas. This was refreshing to see.
