Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, this gritty drama portrays life in the months and years that follow a zombie apocalypse. A group of survivors travel in search of safety and security, constantly on the move in search of a secure home. But the pressure each day to stay alive sends many in the group to the deepest depths of human cruelty, and they soon discover that the overwhelming fear of the survivors can be more deadly than the zombies walking among them. At times, the interpersonal conflicts present a greater threat to their continuing survival than the walkers that roam the country.

Melanie McFarland Salon.com The chance to watch Maggie contend with the challenges of statecraft in a post-apocalyptic world slowly coming back to life may be too interesting to turn away from. Rated: B+ Oct 8, 2018 Full Review Brian Lowry CNN.com [It] feels like the series is back on track, and it's true that change in any creative endeavor can help energize a long-running franchise, at least temporarily. Oct 8, 2018 Full Review Dev Shea Nightmarish Conjurings To all the haters of this season, I get where you’re coming from. I was one of you. But I have seen the light and it is wrapped in the dried and tanned hide of a walker. Oh, and Negan is better and cooler than ever before. Jakey B A phenomenal season that basically restarts the series again with a much needed time jump. The writing is just a massive step up this time and its actually frightening and chilling. The first five episodes are a perfect epilogue and prologue, leaving many questions for another time but the story that starts after that is some of The Walking Dead's best. Incredible character work for established cast and new comers, even with the absence of some being felt, this season delivers and shocks with everything this series needs. 9.3/10 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/18/24 Full Review Big R yessssss best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Nick S I feel like I may have seen this season or at least parts of it when it first aired but most of it I don't remember. It's a really weird serason [SPOILER ALERT] with so many of the big characters leaving the show and the show figuring out how to adjust + keep going with the plot. Whisperers, for me, were always a bit silly plot in the comics and it translates the same into the show as well. Overall, however, the show benefited from some very interesting scenes and world building so it's a bit hit and miss. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/07/24 Full Review Audience Member Brilliant season of television! This show is fantastic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Cota N This season revitalizes the series with a fresh flavor or walking dead. The final episodes of Rick Grimes weigh heavy on the season, but the final episode with him is one of the best episodes of the show. After Rick’s departure the show stays strong and keeps momentum even without the titular character we’ve followed for eight seasons prior. Standout episodes later in the season are thirteen and fifteen which are also some of the best in not just the season, but the series as a whole. The final episode of the season is a bit of an odd choice for a finale, because episode fifteen would fit better as a finale. But other than that, this season is well paced, has great character moments, and has some of the best episodes of the series! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/24 Full Review noah g this season was alright, alpha was kinda annoying tho tbh Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/24 Full Review Read all reviews
