Nelson Acosta Koimoi We might never get the chance to have a live-action Hunter x Hunter adaptation, but having a Yu Yu Hakusho one is the next best thing, and luckily the show does a good job at presenting the character and setting up the Dark Tournament Saga. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 3, 2024 Full Review Panos Kotzathanasis Asian Movie Pulse “Yu Yu Hakusho” boasts an excellent cast, captivating action scenes and the best part of the original comes after what we saw in the first season, one can only deem the title as successful, and also a great start to what will only become better. Rated: 6.5 Mar 16, 2024 Full Review Danae Stahlnecker Common Sense Media Yu Yu Hakusho's lengthy fight scenes and shocking supernatural imagery are what hook viewers. Jan 11, 2024 Full Review Sayantan Gayen CBR The Netflix adaptation is far from perfect, but their decision to adapt it faithfully in a Japanese setting, wrapped in wall-to-wall action, may be enough reason for audiences worldwide to give the show a chance. Rated: 6/10 Dec 29, 2023 Full Review Mariló Delgado Espinof As a supernatural action and drama series, it is entertaining, works perfectly, and is just enough to get you hooked more than perhaps planned. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Dec 21, 2023 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider Fans of the original Yu Yu Hakusho manga will definitely want to check how this energetic live action version realizes its classic characters. But there’s plenty to enjoy for the rest of us, too... Dec 19, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Miguel F No está mal, batallas e historia bien recreada. Algunos personaje sun poco ridiculos. pero se hace amena y merece la pena verla. duracion correta de 5 episodios de 40 minutos. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/25 Full Review Cameron L After One Piece I had really high hopes for this. They could have cut a lot and gotten away with it, but they cut like 80% of it and then came up with a way worse ending to this arc. Maybe someone not invested might enjoy it. The fighting looked too crouching tiger to me which isn't my favorite. Overall I hope future attempts take note and stop cutting so much or changing so drastically already popular properties. You don't know better than the people that made it successful. Lean heavily on their success, pay respect to the fans and you'll have a good thing going. Decide to arrogantly try to make it your own way the expense of fans and you reap what you sew. At the end of the day, I just can't recommend this to anyone. I would always advocate for watching the original or just ignoring it. It's not better to have cruddy pie then no pie at all. Also not casting Kuwabara as someone of European descent who grew up in Japan is criminal. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review Pedro Henrique C It has some interesting fight scenes to watch and also some terrible CGI, a score of 6.0. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/05/24 Full Review Van B Growing up watching the anime series multiple times, I would have to say how disappointed I am to see all the character growth condensed into just a few episodes. The live action series felt like a fan made cosplay show... The end of the dark tournament thrown into the show was so rushed. Master Genkai and Yusukes relationship was short lived. The blood, sweat and tears of training from each main character up to the final fight with Togoros team wasn't even present in this live action series. They went through so much up to the final match and that wasn't even represented in the live action like it should have. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Audience Member So honestly, the actors aren't bad at all. I know a lot of people praise this as being good but, I feel like a lot of these people haven't read the manga let alone watched the anime. It hardly follows the source material. It's terrible. You introduce the Tugoro brothers and stuff from the dark tournament before Yusuke even meets Genkai. Before even his fight with Rando? It's rushed, it's not good. It's a shame because the actors are great for the most part but, who ever wrote this fire live action is obviously not a big fan and really are terrible at what they're doing. Do everyone a favor and just stop. If you're going to try to do this, do it right. You failed. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/04/24 Full Review Onkale R so i thought it was interesting see them make live adaption of the film. but i would of love to see me of the story line showing through each episode instead of the story be told in 3 story and also feel like the aga should of been told in the way animation was told also o e of the character o feel like the cgi for that character should of had more musics then want was show but overall it a good show just need to be ep ding out more to tell the story Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/15/24 Full Review Read all reviews
