No stranger to portraying human emotion, Albert Ray built a career as a compelling director for audiences everywhere. Various films make up Albert Ray's early directing career, including "A Thief in the Dark" (1928), "The Thirteenth Guest" (1932) and "Unholy Love" (1932). He also appeared in "A Shriek in the Night" (1933) and "The Intruder" (1933). He continued to work in film in the thirties, directing motion pictures like "West of Singapore" (1933), "Everyman's Law" (1936) and "Undercover Man" (1936). He also appeared in "Lawless Land" (1937). In the latter part of his career, Albert Ray wrote "Change of Heart" (1938), the Sidney Toler mystery "Charlie Chan in Reno" (1939) and "Everybody's Baby" (1939). Albert Ray was most recently credited in the action picture "The Incorporated" (1997) with John Reneaud. Albert Ray passed away in February 1944 at the age of 47.
