Brandon Rogers

Comedian and YouTuber Brandon Rogers was born on August 3, 1988 in Livermore, California. Although Rogers attended college and had a day job at a law firm, he began developing a prolific YouTube channel with original content starting in 2006. His creation and portrayal of numerous colorful characters started attracting viral attention in 2015. Rogers produced his first show, "Magic Funhouse!" (Fullscreen, 2016-17) which was streamed online until 2018 when Fullscreen's short-lived streaming services stopped. He was named a New Face at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in 2017 and he took over Comedy Central's social media for a week in 2019 through the "Under the Influencer" program. Rogers' next creation, the post-apocalyptic miniseries "Blame the Hero" (YouTube, 2019), earned him multiple nominations at the 2019 Streamy Award including Best Scripted Series, Best Acting, and Best Costume Design. Also in 2019, Rogers was chosen to voice the lead role in Vivienne Medrano's animated web series, "Helluva Boss" (YouTube, 2020- ). Brandon Rogers would work with Medrano again, taking a cameo role in "Hazbin Hotel" (Amazon Prime Video, 2024- ).
