Acclaimed TV writer and producer Charles Rosin attended Beverly Hills High School and the University of California at Berkeley. He first broke into television as a writer on the popular medical drama series "St. Elsewhere." He built his reputation writing a string of made-for-TV movies including "California Girls," "This Child is Mine," and "Summer Dreams: The Story of the Beach Boys." By 1990, he was earning both writer and supervising producer credits for the Alaska-set fish-out-of-water comedy series "Northern Exposure." His work on the series earned him an Emmy nod in 1991. That same year he moved on to the iconic teen drama series "Beverly Hills, 90210," where he served as writer and executive producer for the first five years of the long-running series. In 1998, Rosin returned to high school era highs and lows writing and producing on "Dawson's Creek." After serving as consulting producer on the short-lived Alicia Silverstone romance series "Miss Match," Rosin faded from the TV spotlight. In 2008, he and his daughter, actress Lindsey Rosin, developed showbizzle.com, which is home to their webseries and other entertainment web content.
